The family of Joyce Sims, whose 1980s single “Come Into My Life” made the Top 10 in the US and UK, announced that she has passed away at the age of 63. The reason of death was not disclosed.
Sims has an album release scheduled for later this year and was currently on tour in the UK.

The song “All and All,” her debut single, peaked at No. 6 on the US dance chart and reached the top 20 in the UK singles chart. “Lifetime Love,” “Walk Away,” and “Looking for a Love” were additional top singles for Sims. Randy Crawford, Angie Stone, and Snoop Dogg have all used samples of her music.
Sims, who was from Rochester, New York, resided in New Jersey with her husband Errol and their two kids. No memorial services are scheduled.
