Nana Agradaa (Mama Pat) Granted Ghc 50,000 Bail But She Can’t Go Home (See Why).
On her birthday no less, Nana Agradaa was released from prison, but there is a condition. The fetish priestess turned evangelist was finally granted bail in the amount of GHC 50,000 with three sureties by the Accra Circuit Court hearing her case.
Every Wednesday, she must also appear at the police station. Her case will now be heard on November 10, 2022.

Agradaa was detained a week ago on suspicion of defrauding the members of her church of a large quantity of money. The lifelong con artist allegedly spread her “sika gari” fraud, which she perpetrated while serving as a fetish priestess and which left many Ghanaians in poverty, to her Christian followers.
She made a promise to everyone who visited her church and gave her money that their gifts would be doubled or tripled.
She reportedly told her church members she was closed after collecting the offertory and left them in the dark. The next day, the authorities detained her after social media users posted videos of them sobbing about being duped.
She is accused of defrauding under false pretenses and making false statements in her advertising.
