The moment a plane carrying mercenary chief Yevgeny Prigozhin was seen crashing to the ground has been captured on video. The video shows an airplane spiraling out of the sky and into the ground while leaving a smoke trail in its wake.
The private airplane looks to be completely out of control as it descends vertically from a high altitude moments before it appears to crash into a field. A few seconds after the collision, a plume of heavy, black smoke rises from the scene.

There aren’t many clouds in the sky, so it looks like the weather is perfect. An aircraft fuselage is seen on fire on the ground in another video. Dmitry Utkin, the Wagner Group commander, and Prigozhin were on board, according to the Russian Civil Aviation Authority.

Three pilots and seven passengers were on board the flight from Moscow to St. Petersburg when it came down north of the Russian capital. Ten persons were reportedly on board, according to the TASS news agency. Later, eight dead were reportedly found at the accident scene, according to the Russian state news agency RIA and emergency services.
Russian authorities reported there were no survivors. According to flight monitoring information, Prigozhin had previously flown a private jet registered to Wagner that took off from Moscow on Wednesday night before its transponder signal vanished minutes later.
There were no nearby airfields where the aircraft could have made a safe landing when the signal was lost in a rural area.
After his soldiers marched on Moscow, the mercenary head, who was sent to Belarus, posted video of himself speaking while clad in camouflage and clutching a rifle.
The video suggests that Prigozhin was in Africa at the time. He discussed making the continent “free” in the video.
Additionally, Prigozhin mentioned how Wagner was combating terrorist organizations in the area and noted that the organization planned to strengthen its presence in Africa.
He then provided information regarding Wagner’s recruitment in the video, along with a phone number for individuals who are interested in joining.
