A 20-year-old Princeton University undergrad named Misrach Ewunetie was discovered dead on campus after going missing on October 14.
A groundskeeper at the school discovered Ewunetie, who was scheduled to graduate in 2024, in the back of the tennis courts at one o’clock on Thursday.

Her cause of death will be determined by an autopsy, but there were no evident signs of trauma, and her death did not seem suspicious or criminal in character, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office in New Jersey.
Separately, investigators told Fox News Digital that they had found Ewunetie’s smartphone next to her remains and that they did not think her body had been “positioned” where it had been discovered.

Her family previously told The Sun that on Sunday, they observed her phone “ping” at a suburban residence in Montgomery Township.
Misrach Ewunetie, who passed away on Friday, October 14, was last seen near Scully Hall, a hostel on campus, at around three in the morning.
Her family requested a wellness check from the school’s department of public safety on Sunday after not hearing from her for several days.
On Monday, the agency sent out a missing person warning and enhanced the police presence at the school. As the hunt went on, drones and helicopters had also been circling the area.
W. Rochelle Calhoun, vice president for campus life at the university, referred to Ewunetie’s passing as a “unthinkable tragedy” in a statement.
