It has learnt that Kevin Conroy, who was famous for many years as the voice of cartoon Batman, has passed away.

Kevin lost his battle with cancer on Thursday, according to his agent Gary Miereanu.
The actor relocated to California in 1980, first landing a role in the soap opera “Another World,” then spending some time working in theater and television.
Many people recall Kevin for many years as the voice of Batman, originally portraying the caped crusader in “Batman: The Animated Series” from 1992 to 1995.
Since initially being known as the comic book hero, Kevin has frequently portrayed the role on television, in films, and even in computer games, such as “Batman Beyond,” the “Justice League” series from 2001, “Batman: The Killing Joke,” and all of the Batman “Arkham” series video games.

Over the years, he won seven awards for voice acting, including Best Actor in 2015 for his work in a video game.
In 2022, Kevin penned a story titled “Finding Batman” for the DC Comics Pride anthology, in which he discussed his LGBT life experiences.
Fellow voice actor Diane Pershing, known for playing villain Poison Ivy alongside Kevin, shared her pain following Kevin’s passing … writing, “He will be sorely missed not just by the cast of the series but by his legion of fans all over the world.”
Kevin is survived by his husband Vaughn C. Williams, sister Trisha Conroy, and brother Tom Conroy.
He was 66.
