According to the popular music investor Nana Kwame Appiasei, also known as Smallgod, who has made significant contributions to the music industry, he is the DJ Khaled of Africa.

Smallgod is a longtime streetwear, culture, and music entrepreneur from Ghana who has just decided to follow his heart and become an artist. He has received many honors for his efforts to the Ghanaian music scene, with ‘Abonten Father’ being the most notable.

In an interview with Amansan Kraye on Kaslte FM, Smallgod said that in addition to singing, a person may be recognized as a music person by the investments they have made to advance the genre.

Because there are so many other ways to create music, he claimed, “where we’ve arrived now in the music business, you don’t need to be used to singing per se to be labeled a musician.”

Smallgod suggested that many persons who have made significant contributions to music entertainment but are not musicians exist.

If you understand that it’s okay, he continued, “you understand there are writers, producers, executive producers, and so many other individuals that put the whole thing together.

In a one-on-one interview with Amansan Krakye, he said, “After all, DJ Khaled doesn’t sing but he’s known as a musician so I’m like that and I will claim that I’m the DJ Khaled of Africa not only Ghana.”
