The National Intelligence Bureau has made Captain Smart, also known as Blessed Godsbrain Smart, available for public consumption (NIB).
After Media General Group applied pressure following a Rambo-style arrest on Wednesday, October 19, near Kawukudi, he was released.

While returning from work, Captain Smart was stopped and taken somewhere. In the midst of heavy traffic, the NIB agents are alleged to have drove passed the broadcaster’s automobile and crossed it with their unmarked vehicle.
He was subsequently taken to a first-guess destination by them. Later, he was discovered at the Bureau’s Interrogation Unit. He was there, and senior Media General personnel watched while he was questioned. Later, he was freed on bond.
The arrest on Wednesday is said to be related to his remarks regarding President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-thus Addo’s far ineffectiveness lack the fight against galamsey.
