Burna Boy made mention to Stefflon Don in his popular song “Last Last,” and now Stefflon Don is speaking out about it.

Stefflon Don talks about moving on and not wanting to date any more musicians, but she has no animosity toward her ex-boyfriend Burna Boy. The British-born Jamaican performer was probed about the separation by TT Torez of Hot 97, and she revealed it had happened more than a year before it was reported in the media.

Before their breakup, they dated for 2.5 years, according to Steff. The singer radiates confidence in her statement when asked if the song “Last Last,” by Burna Boy, was about her. She replies, “It is what it is.”

According to rumors, she broke up with the Nigerian musician because he had cheated on her. The song “Last Last” by Burna Boy also seems to allude to the singer’s difficulty moving over Stefflon. “How did it make me feel when I heard it? I thought, “Boy, that’s a lie, but whatever, it’s whatever,” she stated in reference to something he said in it.

The “Senseless” singer claims that she receives several DMs from potential suitors despite being many people’s ideal girl, but she is not interested in dating another musician. She added that she would only be open to dating if it led to a long-term commitment.

She claims that she is simply a lover of love and that her horoscope sign is Sagittarius. Do you get what I’m saying when I say, “And I don’t know how to like go out with a guy without thinking, ‘oh, I’m going to marry you’? I’m just feeling like I’m wasting my time and I don’t know how to,” she stated.

“I have to see a future with you, so it has to be worth it,” she continued.

Stefflon Don claims to be a workaholic who appreciates her work as a form of self-distraction. For those in the industry, it’s a hard no if she’s considering a potential future client. Stefflon responds, “Not in music, I’m fine with it, no, anything else but with music.”

Stefflon, meantime, is getting ready for the release of his upcoming album, titled “Island 54,” which is scheduled to occur later this month. After departing Capital and QCM before the pandemic, the “Hurtin Me” singer revealed that this album is her debut as an independent artist.
