After two trailers made it clear the pair would assert they were not protected by royal officials and that aides intentionally “fabricated rumors” about them as part of a “dirty game,” Buckingham Palace would be prepared for the worst. William and his wife Kate are not likely to see Harry and Meghan’s upcoming Netflix series directly, according to sources, but King Charles and Prince William are prepared to respond’swiftly and robustly’ to any unfair charges made in it.

With the new series debuting on the streaming site at 8am, senior royals are reportedly braced for the worst and ready to respond to any baseless charges. In two recent Netflix teasers, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have already made a number of assertions, including that they were not protected by the Palace and that staffers were intentionally leaking and “planting” tales about them as part of a “dirty game.” The Royal Family, though, thinks there won’t be many brand-new revelations in the series.
According to a source who spoke to The Mirror, “Harry and Meghan are making a lot of noise, and there isn’t much more to say.” However, preparations are being made for any scenario, particularly if false accusations are leveled. Members of the now-defunct Sussex family are also reportedly “seething with wrath” over the six-part documentary’s teasers.
On Thursday morning, representatives from Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace will view the first three episodes of the season. However, it is anticipated that the Prince and Princess of Wales would not watch the documentary’s first three episodes. The royals are hesitant to fight each other tooth and nail over the series, an insider allegedly claimed to The Sun.

They declared: “It is only right that elements that are obviously incorrect get corrected. There are some obvious mistakes and misrepresentations in the trailers already, which is not encouraging for the entire series. However, the strategy is to keep quiet and press on. The complete series is scheduled to be released next Thursday, but sources told the newspaper they are not expected to comment until then.
The King and Prince of Wales are believed to have instructed aides to provide a “quick and forceful” response if necessary. You can be sure that if there is a need to respond to anything in the forthcoming series, it will be done so quickly and forcefully. It is believed that Senior Ryal received a right of reply from Netflix so they could address any accusations made in the show.
However, Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace both reject having received such a proposal. Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan promised that it is only the “beginning” and have previously mentioned “sweeping down walls of oppression.” However, producers claim that British broadcasters would not have accepted Netflix’s use of “misleading” video in the two series teasers. Peter Grimsdale, a former commissioning editor for the BBC and Channel 4, claimed that attorneys would have been involved before the teaser was released.
According to him, it is practically hard-wired into us to ensure that we are aware of the source of every shot because if there were any complaints, you would be in serious danger. There is a responsibility to take care. I believe Sky employees would share my sentiments. It’s partially a result of American regulations simply being different. Because everyone checks, Mr. Grimsdale continued, “this doesn’t happen 99.9% of the time.”
