Wa Police Force Announce GHc 100,000 Bounty For Information On Killings. A GHC100,000 bounty has been placed on the heads of the enigmatic murders of certain Wa citizens in the Upper West Region by the police administration.
The main suspect in the Wa murder case has, however, been detained by the police. After intensive coordination between the Police and community search groups, suspect Kankani Adongo was captured on September 19, 2022 in Bamahu, a Wa suburb.
The suspect is being held in jail and will be charged after being arraigned in court.
However, a review of the information acquired thus far indicates that more than one person may be connected to this horrible act.
On September 18, 2022, the special purpose police intelligence and investigation teams working with local residents in Bamahu, a suburb of Wa, uncovered a body in a shallow grave. Family relatives of the deceased later recognized the body as that of Seidu Baga, who had gone missing on September 16, 2022.
After that, the body was unearthed and taken to the Regional Hospital in Washington for an autopsy and an inquiry.
After considerable coordination between the Police and community search groups, suspect Kankani Adongo was apprehended on September 19, 2022 at Bamahu, a suburb of Wa.
