Ryan Carson, a poet and activist from New York, was fatally stabbed in front of his fiancée on Monday in Brooklyn, and the horrific attack was caught on stunning video.
The 32-year-old victim, Mr. Carson, was standing on the street with his girlfriend when he was stabbed at around 4 a.m. in the Crown Heights neighborhood, according to CBS News.
After returning from a wedding in Long Island, Mr. Carson and his girlfriend are seen on surveillance video of the incident resting on a bench at a bus stop. The two then stand up and begin to stroll down the block.

A man was observed kicking scooters that were parked close to the curb just in front of them. He asked, “What the f-k are you looking at?” before turning to face them and repeatedly stabbing Mr. Carson.
The attacker returned and approached the terrified woman, who lifted her hand to stop him, as she lay bleeding on the ground. After spitting at her, he rushed off.

Mr. Carson was stabbed in the heart, and despite being taken to Kings County Hospital Center, he passed away from his wounds. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made, according to the police.
Notably, Ryan Carson was a well-known campaign manager and activist with the New York Public Research Group whose most recent work concentrated on enhancing recycling and solid waste management. According to acquaintances who spoke to The Post, his activity focused on environmental issues and sustainability.
Ryan was a cherished employee, friend, and colleague as well as a passionate, talented, and enthusiastic supporter of kids and the environment. His success in advancing the topics he passionately cared about in his job and personal life was largely due to his endearing demeanor, loud laugh, and broad-ranging intelligence, the group said in a statement.
