Rema Shows Gratitude To Obama For Adding His Song To His 2022 Playlist

Today’s web news reported that Barack Obama, the former president of the United States of America, had removed his customary playlist, and unsurprisingly, some of the best Nigerian musicians were included.

The first black president to hold office published on his Twitter account the songs that made up his top albums of the year, which as was expected sparked a flurry of comments from other users.

Evidently, Barack Obama listed Burna Boy’s Last Last first, then Ayra Starr’s Rush and Rema’s Calm Down.

Barack Obama highlighted the sentiment behind the post while requesting suggestions for additional songs to add.

We listened to a lot of amazing songs this year, so I always like to share my end-of-year music playlist with all of you. Some of my favorites are included here. Are there any tunes or musicians you recommend I check out?

Rema responded to the news by thanking Obama for giving him the respect he deserved, just like in 2019. The singer of “Ginger Me” expressed similar sentiments to those he expressed in 2019 when his name appeared on the list.

He wrote; ”I feel the same way I did in 2019 when I saw my Name on this list, I’m very grateful. 🙏🏾❤️”
