The highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto IV is predicted to be released in 2024, according to a comment from Microsoft that was tucked away inside the paper, according to Insider-Gaming.
Microsoft bases its assertion on Tech Radar leaks, but there’s a high chance the business is aware of more information about the anticipated release of GTA 6.
It should be noted that Sony has indicated that the PlayStation 6 will be released after 2027 as a result of the Activision Blizzard deal, thus if Microsoft is correct, GTA 6 will still be playable on the current generation of consoles for quite some time.
GTA 6 hype peaked earlier this year when 90 videos featuring in-progress gameplay footage of the game emerged as a result of a significant hack.

The video evidenced Vice City’s comeback as a setting for the game and established that players would be able to choose between a male or female protagonist.
Rockstar has assured that the hack has not affected development, although an official release date for the game is still unknown.
