A new video purporting to show dead Louisiana State University sophomore Madison Brooks riding in the backseat of a car with her accused assailants was denounced by the lawyer for her family.

The Alpha Phi sorority girl is seen on the video mumbling her words and arguing with the four alleged rapists in East Baton Rouge around three in the morning last month, just before she is reportedly raped, thrown to the side of the road, and later ran over by another car.

In the 29-second video, which was released by the suspects’ attorneys, Brooks, 19, briefly calls the driver “gay” and hurls insults at the males.

The mother of Brooks is being represented by Kerry Miller, who told Fox News that the video was “hurtful and disgusting” and that each footage made public by the defense “cuts like a knife” into the family of the deceased kid.

Another video of Brooks leaving Reggie’s bar in Baton Rouge to join the four defendants accused of raping her was made public last month. Desmond Carter, 17, Kaivon Washington, 18, Casen Carver, 18, and Everett Lee are all adults.

Miller criticized the defense for continuing to make recordings of Brooks’ death night available to the public, calling it a last-ditch effort to steer the narrative.

“Defending your clients is one thing. Another is to have the matter tried in the media, according to Miller. “That demonstrates a degree of desperation,”

In the portion of the new video that was shown on TV earlier this week, Brooks is depicted arguing with the men while seated in the back of the car, seemingly getting out of it.

She apologized to Carver, the driver, for offending him so severely.

Then, in a muddled voice, she cries, “Go out.” Go away. I’ll make my own Uber call.

According to defense attorney Ron Haley, the entire 29-second clip contains the incident in which Brooks allegedly branded Carver “gay” for allegedly refusing to have sex with her.

Haley stated to WBRZ 2, which aired the clip, “Implying that he’s not straight based on him not wanting to engage in certain things with her.”

It doesn’t present anyone in the best light, but as we’ve said before, being portrayed poorly is not the same as rape.

The ride-share automobile that hit Brooks at 3 am on January 15 after the four men dropped her off is what caused her death.

After the crash, two good samaritans reportedly stopped to administer CPR to the sophomore LSU student.

Once Brooks was struck by the car, according to the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office, they were directed by emergency personnel over the phone while it was pouring rain.

They acknowledged that she was hit by a car after allegedly being raped and died as a result of “many severe injuries.”

Carter, whose identity was previously hidden due to his age, was charged with first-degree rape and is now facing a life sentence without the possibility of release.

He was also accused with third-degree rape, which in Louisiana is defined as having intercourse with a victim without their consent.

Also accused of third-degree rape are Washington, Carver, and Lee.

According to court records obtained by DailyMail.com, Madi had 0.319g% alcohol in her system, which is so high that toxicologists warned she may have had alcohol poisoning or loss of consciousness.

According to police records, Madi is seen in surveillance film near Reggie’s bar, where the group congregated, staggering around while intoxicated.

The Louisiana ATC has acknowledged that due to the “seriousness of the allegations and potential threat to public safety,” they have suspended Reggie’s license.

In a statement, Kris Perrett, an attorney for the bar, acknowledged that they are “completely collaborating with authorities.”
