Using an Instagram post to address her 1.1 million followers, Kaz declared that she was “ready to move forward” and that she “owed” it to herself and her fans to resolve the matter.

She remembered, “I was in Dubai in 2020. No one pushed me to appear in the video; I was the one who was filmed. It was a period of time in my life when I probably didn’t love myself at all. And this is evident in the things I was doing to my body and the people I was with.
She went on to describe her ordeal while traveling to Thailand for volunteer work, where she has been constructing housing for at-risk children for the last two years, and how the footage later became released.

I received a fantastic job offer. Guys, I was so thrilled to receive this job offer; it was practically my dream job. I stayed up late researching, but I didn’t consider the transit in Abu Dhabi and how it may affect me because, obviously, I wasn’t thinking. Still, everything happens for a reason.
“I was then taken into detention in Abu Dhabi and held there from Monday through Friday, when they eventually released me.”
I took full responsibility at the end of the day, so I was quite accepting of the situation and prepared for whatever was going to happen to me. I am truthful. I described the circumstance and stated that I was the person in the video, adding that a considerable time had passed,’ she claimed.
In another scene from the reel, Kaz said that an ex-boyfriend and not a friend had shared the film of her taking lines of white powder.

Offenders are deported after serving their prison sentences and are not allowed to return to the UAE.
Reports state that Crossley’s request to telephone her family from the Dubai jail was denied.
Kaz was eager to return to Thailand, where she had been volunteering, but all of a sudden, the insider told The Sun, “she is suffering in a Dubai jail.” She was only permitted to make a single phone call and send one email. She sent a message to a specific acquaintance whose email address she could recall, asking her to let her family know that she was fine but had been detained for drug offenses. She had nothing on her that would have justified an arrest. As far as we are aware, that video is the only factor.
