Renowned gospel musician Cindy Thompson has spoken against Kumawood actor Mmebusem viral Jesus comedy skits.

According to the gospel musician, Mmebusem imitating Jesus Christ is very wrong, adding that he is using the name of Jesus in vain.

Cindy Thompson further stated that what the Kumawood actor is doing does not uplift the name of Jesus in any way, therefore, it is not right.

The “Awurade Kasa” hitmaker advised Mmebusem to put an end to the comedy skits if he has not received any directive from God to do that.

She added that no one can ever be like Jesus Christ and that the Kumawood actor should use his talent to act but not to mimic Jesus.

What is his reason? If it is for people to laugh then what he is doing is not right. Because whatever we do in the name of Christ must uplift his image. If he is to do it in the right way…God will use him to win more souls for the Kingdom.

He should advise himself if he didn’t receive any directives from God through prayers to act that way, then he should be careful because nobody can be like Christ. If God has given him the talent to act, there are so many things he can act about but not to mimic Jesus Christ in a fun way”, Cindy Thompson indicated.

This comes after popular Kumawood actor Mmebusem recently released a comedy skits of him mimicking Jesus Christ.

The viral video has caused an outburst on social media which some Ghanaians applauding him for his creativity and sense of humour while others also think it is blasphemous.
