Former President John Mahama Reacts To The Death Of Queen Elizabeth II

John Mahama, a former president of Ghana, has responded to the tragic passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

Recall that the Royal Family had earlier on September 8 announced the illustrious monarch’s passing.

A few weeks after marking her 70th year on the reign, the queen reportedly passed away quietly at Balmoral.

Using his verified Twitter account, which is a well-known social media site,

He wrote;

“Sad to hear the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. She carried her royal duties with grace, poise & dignity. An icon of pride not only to the British people but the Commonwealth. Our hearts go out to King Charles III and the Royal Family. May God grant her peaceful repose.”
