Youtube Star Colleen Ballinger Grooming Video Leaked On Twitter, Youtube, Snapchat & Reddit (Watch Full Video). Female youtuber colleen ballinger has been trending because of an alleged grooming video leaked on twitter, snapchat, youtube and reddit.

Colleen Ballinger, the creator of the comedic character Miranda Sings on YouTube, is stepping out for the first time after fans accused her of exploiting her position and popularity to engage in destructive parasocial relationships with teenage admirers for years.

But not in a formal statement. Instead, Ballinger conveyed her explanation via a 10-minute YouTube ukulele song, leaving behind arguably the only time a notes app apology would have been preferable.

“Even though my team has strongly advised me not to say what I want to say,” Ballinger crooned Wednesday, “I recently realized that they never said I couldn’t sing what I want to say.”

Earlier this month, at least four former fans told Rolling Stone the same access that made the comedian famous opened the door for interactions they describe as toxic, exploitative, and hurtful. Ballinger has long stood as one of the early faces of YouTube stardom.

In addition to 20 million subscribers across multiple accounts, the YouTuber was a fixture on the site, had several national and international tours, and starred in her own Netflix original series named after Miranda Sings’ famous catchphrase.

“Haters Back Off!” But behind the scenes, former fans said Ballinger had multiple group chats where underaged participants were asked about their $3x lives and alleged that power imbalances allowed for toxicity and bullying to run rampant in the fandom. (Ballinger and two members of her team were asked for comment multiple times by Rolling Stone and did not respond.)

She is now speaking, or more accurately, singing. Ballinger’s response film, “hi.,” focused on a “toxic gossip train” to a “manipulation station,” a “mob mentality” that regards rumors and truths as entertainment, and other topics. Ballinger largely sung what sounds like a chorus numerous times, but she did halt the song to speak directly to the camera about her “weird” early-career relationships with fans.

The YouTube sensation frequently alluded to “mistakes” made by others, but she never directly addressed any of the criticisms leveled at her. Instead, she compared herself to the strange aunt at a family gathering who wants to know “the tea,” saying, “I was just trying to be besties with everyone.”

And Ballinger vehemently denied claims that her actions were predatory or that she groomed any young fans. “The only thing I’ve ever groomed is my two Persian cats,” she crooned.

Instead, she claimed that her Miranda Sings identity was always PG-13 and that she hasn’t spoken up about her personal life in fan group chats in “years,” suggesting that the errors were in the past but didn’t turn her into a nasty person. Ballinger remarked,

“I didn’t realize it was my duty to determine what was appropriate for every kid to see.” I’ve always depended on parents to decide whether their children should view my YouTube videos or attend my live performances.
