On Wednesday night in a music venue in Feira de Santana, Brazil, during a live concert, the promising young vocalist Pedro Henrique passed away on stage.

An audience member recorded a brief video of the 30-year-old Brazilian singer interacting with the throng close to the stage edge, just before he hoisted his microphone and collapsed onto his back.

Henrique lost consciousness and was taken to a local hospital right away, where TMZ reports he was eventually declared dead. His record company, Todah Music, verified that he had experienced a severe heart attack.

The singer departs from Suilan Barreto, his wife, and Zoe, their infant daughter.

According to TMZ, concertgoers described an odd vibe when the music suddenly stopped and emergency workers hurried to the stage.
