Bole Student Kidnap Video Trending On Social Media, Student Escapes From Cemetery (Watch Video). A 20-year-old student at the National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI) in Bole, in the Savannah Region, escaped a kidnapping attempt.
He said that on Sunday night during dinner, the suspects kidnapped him from the school’s premises. The victim claimed that the suspects assaulted him in the neck and knocked him out as he revealed his horror in an interview with Nantomah of Adom News.
When he awoke, the two men were waiting for him at the Bole royal cemetery and demanded a phone number so they could demand a ransom. But when he informed his classmates of the occurrence, one of the suspects got suspicious that the victim might have been calling for assistance and went to see who it might be.
This gave him the chance to flee for his life, and he engaged the second suspect in combat, which he was able to win, allowing him to escape and return to his school. Speaking on the incident, Alhassan Salifu, the principal of Bole NVTI, claimed that pupils now live in fear and occasionally leave the school’s grounds in search of water.
As a result, he has requested that the government increase security and patrols of the school’s perimeter.
