According to reports, the deadly crash occurred early Wednesday morning. According to police, they attempted to halt the driver of the vehicle earlier in the night before the terrible incident in South Windsor, which resulted in his death.
Around 1:30 a.m., a bystander or pedestrian reported the incident. The collision happened near the intersection of Nevars and Graham roads.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Austin Stefano, was pronounced dead at the site.
According to officials, the Audi vehicle lost control and collided with a tree. When the police came, it was stated that the driver had already perished at the scene.
According to sources, some 40 minutes before the incident, a police officer attempted to stop the automobile for a traffic violation.
Because the officer did not follow the automobile, it is unknown if it was attempting to elude the cops when it collided. The officials reported that they came to a halt when the automobile failed to stop.
