A Ghanaian YouTuber, Mykel Derry has collated the various prices that Ghanaians musicians charge when they’re contracted to perform at private ceremonies.

What Mykel did was he created an email using the name and picture of a highly respected person.
He then wrote a mail to some notable Ghanaian musicians telling them that he would love them to perform at his private ceremony, so they should reply with their charges and conditions.
Ay Poyoo, Sarkodie, R2Bees, Becca, Wendy Shay, Kuami Eugene, Kidi, among other musicians responded to the mail.
Sarkodie who was the highest takes $50,000 (equivalent GHS288,250), Fuse ODG takes $40,000 (equivalent GHS230,600), R2Bees $20,000 (equivalent GHS115,300), Becca charges GHS100,000, Medikal takes GHS57,650 and many more.
