Patrick Osei Agyemang, commonly known as Countryman Songo on television, is worried that some Black Stars players might be hiding illnesses in order to get ready for the 2022 World Cup.
Coach Otto Addo presented his lineup of 26 players on Monday, November 14, 2022. Ten of the twenty-six players were hurt, according to Countryman Songo, who participated in a panel discussion on Peace FM.

Songo believes that in order for everyone to experience the glory and prestige of the World Cup, the players are concealing their illnesses from the Black Stars medical personnel.

There are about eight to ten wounded players. Some athletes are concealing their wounds, according to Songo on Peace FM.

Ghana’s opening World Cup game is against Portugal on November 24. They will then play Uruguay and South Korea after that in an effort to reach the round of 16.

Songo believes the Black Stars’ chances are lost if they lose their last Group H game. Ghana would lose all three of its forthcoming games by a collective score of 13-0, according to the contentious sportscaster.

Songo grounds his unusual forecast on his conviction that Otto Addo, Ghana’s head coach, lacks the ability to guide his side to World Cup success.

“You want to win the World Cup, but your coach is a trainer scout whose main strategy is to defend before games. Otto Addo will be content to play 20 games and draw every single one if defense is his top priority.

We will lose each of the three games; Portugal will defeat us 4-0, Korea 3-0, and Uruguay 6-0 to send us home. Because although Brazil was defeated 7-1 by Germany, you cannot claim that the scorelines are odd. Songo concluded.

23 players showed up for the first day of practice at the Aspire headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, it is predicted that players like Kamaldeen Sulemana, Alexandre Djiku, and Joseph Aidoo will join the rest of the team.
