2020: No political violence will be entertained – National House of Chiefs VEEP warns politicians

Vice President of the National House of Chiefs, Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII is signaling politicians to call their violent party activists to order before the 2020 polls as the house of chiefs will bot entertain political violence in any form.

He bemoaned the practice where party activists take the law into their hands during general elections by engaging in all sort of violent activities but are left off the hook because their party is in power or have some backing from political leaders.

Daasebre Ewusi who doubles as the Paramount Chief of Abeadze Dominase Traditional Area therefore called on political leaders especially the ruling party to educate their followers about violence free elections during and after the polls since violence injures the reputation of the country.

Speaking at 10th anniversary of Akwamokese organised by the people of Gomoa Ajumako in the Central Region, he raised concerns about the spate of armed robberies in the Central Region and appealed to the security agencies to as matter of urgency do all they can to nib robbery activities in the bud.

The Chief who is the immediate past President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs commended the Omanhene of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area, Obrempong Nyanful Krampah XI for using his authority to transform the area.

In his welcome address, Obrempong Krampah who doubles as the President of Central Regional House of Chiefs revealed that he has been able to solve 40 chieftaincy disputes in the region.
