You’re asking IMF For Loan Yet Calling On Africans To Stop egging – Ex-Nigerian Senator Blasts Nana Akufo-Addo.

Shehu Sani, a former senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has criticized President Nana Addo for urging African leaders to cease pleading for aid.

Ghanaians and other nationals have criticized President Nana Addo for his most recent remarks to African leaders. Following his comment, he has been called a hypocrite by numerous individuals.

A few hours after the IMF gave Ghana a $3 billion loan, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo urged African leaders to stop crying for help and start investing their money in the continent. He asserted that this is what will elevate the continent’s standing.

He chided his fellow leaders, saying, “If we stop being beggars and spend African money inside the continent, Africa will not need to ask for respect from anyone.”

We’ll be treated with the respect we merit. Respect will come if we make it prosperous in the way it ought to be.

“Africans are tougher outside of Africa than inside. We must keep in mind that there is no such thing as Nigeria, Ghana, or Kenya to the outside world; we are just Africans. Our destiny as people depends on each other.”

It appears that former Nigerian senator Shehu Sani was not pleased with the president Nana Addo’s remark. He posted on Twitter, saying:

The tweet stated, “Ghana’s President is using his left hand to caution African Governments against asking the west for money while simultaneously taking an IMF loan with his right hand.”
