Victoria ‘The Prodigy’ Lee Death Reason & Obituary;Victoria Lee, a rising MMA star, passed away last month at the age of 18; her family has verified this. The reason of death was not disclosed.

Lee, often known as “The Prodigy,” was one of the most talented mixed martial artists in the world. Her sister Angela currently owns the ONE Championship atomweight world title, and their brother Christian is the ONE lightweight champion, giving the Hawaii native a solid MMA lineage.

In an Instagram post, Lee’s sister acknowledged that she had gone away on December 26.

Angela wrote: ‘On December 26, 2022 our family experienced something no family should ever have to go through… It is incredibly difficult to say this… Our Victoria passed away.

‘She has gone too soon and our family has been completely devastated since then.

‘We miss her … [m]ore than anything in this world. Our family will never be the same. Life will never be the same. Victoria was the most beautiful soul who ever lived. She was the best little sister in the world. The best daughter, the best granddaughter and the best godma / aunty to Ava and Alia.

‘We miss you so much sis. More than you could ever realize. We’re all broken. Because a piece of you was in each of us and when you left, those pieces were ripped out of us. We will never be the same.

‘Each and every little thing makes me think of you. From the sun rays, to the sunset. You taught us to see the beauty in the simple things. You were our bright light. Our sunshine. And that will never change. You were perfect in every way. The best person I knew. The most beautiful girl, inside and out.

‘We love you Victoria. I love you Sprout. Until the end of time.’

In addition, Angela requested that visitors treat the family with “grace and dignity” during this trying time.

Lee had won her first three fights in ONE, the biggest MMA promotion in Asia, and was expected to follow in the footsteps of her siblings and become a global champion.

She had, however, taken a break from the sport in 2022 in order to concentrate on finishing high school.

I first met Victoria when she was 11 years old, according to a Facebook post shared by ONE chairman Chatri Sityodtong, who also paid tribute to Lee. Over the years, I saw her develop both as a martial artist and a person.

I’ll never forget thinking how mature, considerate, and selfless she was for her age. She was undoubtedly a remarkable martial arts prodigy even back then, but I could see she was so much more.

Victoria possessed a sharp mind and the purest heart of gold. She put the needs of others above her own. She desired to contribute to the world with her life. Victoria’s wonderful and priceless soul will always be in my memory.

In addition, Lee had won the junior world championship in pankration, the contemporary variation of an ancient Greek wrestling style.

She apparently had a close relationship with her siblings’ careers and would painstakingly prepare them desserts once they achieved success.

She stated in December that her brother’s most recent world title victory had inspired her.

She exclaimed, “I’m so proud of my big brother.” “Just being in the gym and watching him grind and push so hard in all of his training sessions, and watching the fight and seeing it play out so brilliantly,” the author said.
