Transgender Girl, 16, Brianna Ghey Was Stabbed To Death At Culcheth Linear Park As “ Targeted Attack”.

Transgender girl, 16, Brianna Ghey stabbed to death in park: Detectives claim that the murder was a “targeted attack,” but there is no proof that it was a hate crime, and they are maintaining a “open mind” regarding whether gender is significant.

Detectives were looking for the murderer of a 16-year-old transgender girl who was fatally stabbed in a community park tonight.

In the picturesque area on the site of a former railway cutting, Brianna Ghey was the victim of a “targeted attack.”

The teen’s body was found on a walk in Linear Park in Culcheth, a wealthy community close to Warrington, Cheshire, on Saturday afternoon. Police and paramedics were rushed to the scene. At the scene, she was pronounced deceased.

The adolescent, who was born a man, is thought to have been living as a woman for a while.

Since she started working at the opticians seven years ago, Brianna and her mother have been clients, according to Emma Fortune.

She claimed Brianna was transitioning and was born Brett.

I last saw them last year, Miss Fortune remarked. When Brianna’s hair was down and her makeup was on, she looked stunning.

“When I complimented her on how lovely she looked, her little face brightened up. I was horrified to learn that she had been killed. I was furious. Her mother will be heartbroken.

Although the adolescent was “extremely quiet,” likely “because of what she was going through,” the woman continued, “she had never acknowledged being bullied.”

The teenager supposedly uploaded a playlist on YouTube with the headline “Songs that heal my sufferings.”

The murder was not a hate crime, according to a Cheshire Constabulary spokesman last night, but he added that police were keeping a “open mind” regarding whether Brianna’s status as a transgender youngster was important to their investigations.

Residents of the village claimed that after Brianna’s body was found, the police department swarmed the area with patrol cars and also sent a police aircraft. As forensic work went on yesterday, a number of police vehicles remained at the park.

At the cordon, Detective Chief Supt. Mike Evans said that Brianna was the victim of a “targeted attack” during a “busy day” at the park.

He added that it was unclear whether the adolescent knew her assailant but pledged that his police “would continue to explore other lines of inquiry that surface.” A murder weapon has not been found by detectives.
