Steven Caple Jr. will be directing the next science fiction action movie Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. It will be the sixth live-action Transformers movie and a follow-up to Bumblebee, and it will be based on the Hasbro Transformers toy line and heavily influenced by the Beast Wars mythology (2018).
The story of Optimus Prime takes place in 1994 in Brooklyn, New York City, and locations in Peru, including Machu Picchu, Cusco, and Tarapoto, San Martn. Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback will star in the movie.
The American premiere of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is set for June 9, 2023, thanks to Paramount Pictures.
