Tanya Pardazi, a TikTok influencer and beauty queen, unfortunately perished in a skydiving accident on Saturday after opening her parachute too soon on her first solo jump. Nearly 100,000 people follow the Canadian social media influencer who advanced to the Miss Canada semifinals in 2017.
In Innisfil, Ontario, she had finished a course with Skydive Toronto. She qualified to travel without a trainer thanks to the course. According to a buddy, this was her first experience skydiving by herself.
Pardazi had leaped 4,000 feet in the air. The young influencer opened the primary parachute at the incorrect time and altitude, according to Skydive Toronto, “without the time or altitude required for the reserve parachute to inflate.”
