Tiffany Gomas, The 38-year-old woman whose outburst on American Airlines went viral has apologized in an impassioned statement, expressing regret for her actions.
Gomas is infamous for screaming “that motherfucker back there is not real” as she ran screaming from a plane. Introducing herself in an apology video as “the crazy plane lady,” a moniker she claimed “is completely warranted,”

Gomas said to TMZ, “Whether I was distressed or not, I should have been in control of my emotions, and that was not the case. I want to apologize to everyone on that plane, especially those who had children aboard, for the absolutely unwarranted vulgarity I used.

The woman said, fighting back tears, “While it has been really comical for everyone and I have highly enjoyed so many of the memes, on the flip side it is very invasive and unkind and I don’t know what I would do without the love and support of my friends and family.”
