According to court filings, a teacher at Franklin High School was detained for allegedly engaging in $3xual activity with a teen pupil multiple times over the course of 15 days.

Indignation and worry among parents and students have been prompted by the allegations against the science teacher at a Seattle high school.
The 16-year-old female student in issue admitted to having a “consensual s*xual relationship with one of her professors” to the police. The two started dating on February 2nd, 2023.
According to the statement, the two had had sex at least five times during the previous two weeks.
The documents also state that the student admitted to exchanging more than 3,000 communications with the teacher via Discord, email, and texts.

The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office claimed that these allegations warranted five counts of first-degree $3xual misconduct with a minor and one count of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes.
Also, the KCPAO requested that the teacher’s bond be set at $250,000 owing to the risk she poses to the neighborhood. Nonetheless, the bond was imposed at $100,000 by the first appearance judge.
Police are anticipated to file the case referral later this week.
Seattle Public Schools put the instructor on paid administrative leave as a result of the accusations.
The district cited a letter written by the principal of Franklin High School, who said that after learning of the claims, both the school and the district moved rapidly to resolve the matter.
The teacher is not permitted to speak with students, family, or staff members, enter any SPS buildings, or participate in any activities linked to the school.
The district gave the public the reassurance that it had started a thorough internal inquiry through its Office of Student Civil Rights and Human Resources Department.
“We have initiated a full internal investigation through the district’s Human Resources Department and Office of Student Civil Rights,” the district said. “As part of our process, we have informed and will collaborate with the Seattle Police Department.”
