Laadonis Williams, the program director, declared, “We want to make it cool. “I’m just going to let you get away with it rather than hurting you, engaging in physical conflict, or resorting to gun violence. You did me wrong. I mistreated you. We will simply split ways. Simply put, we’re going to ignore it.”
There have been no arrests made in the interim, and the murder is still unsolved.
That day, the Houston Police Department held a press conference where they pleaded with witnesses to come forward with information. The police haven’t provided any significant updates since then, and they still maintain that they’re still looking into the matter.
