How To Register Your SIM Card With Ghana Card From Home

It was declared a couple month ago that service providers will accept Ghana card for the registration of sim and even the tin numbers will be useless because it will be swapped with Ghana card.

There are 2 stages in this process, checkout the first stage below;

step 1 ; Dial *404# (All networks)

step 2 ; Enter Your Ghana Card Pin (It should be letters and figures without hyphens)

step 3 ; Confirm Your Ghana Card Pin

Step 4 ; Enter Your Surname

Step 5 ; Enter your First Name

Step 6 ; Enter Date Of Birth (format: DDMMYYYY)

Step 7 ; Select Your Gender (male or female)

Step 8 ; Check and confirm details

Step 9 ; Submit the details you provided after you have confirmation the details you entered are all correct.

NOTE: 1) If it’s SUCCESSFUL, you will get a confirmation message with a unique code.

2) If it’s UNSUCCESSFUL, due to wrong details, you will be given 3 attempts to answer some security questions.

3) If It’s UNSUCCESSFUL, due to failure in verification at the National Identification Authority(NIA), You will be informed to contact NIA.

Visit your service provider either an agent or customer service to complete this stage of registration.
