Fans of Gunna should rejoice because he has been freed. After pleading guilty to a charge of racketeering conspiracy in the Young Slime Life RICO case, the Atlanta rapper was released from prison.

The “pushin P” hitmaker maintained his innocence while negotiating an Alford plea because it was in his best interests on Wednesday (Dec. 14).

Gunna’s sentence was reduced by one year for time served, resulting in a five-year sentence. He must complete 500 hours of community service in addition to the suspension of the remainder of his four-year sentence.

The rapper said in a statement, “While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it crystal clear that I have not made any statements, been interviewed, cooperated, agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case, and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way.
