GHANA: 14 Healthy Coronavirus Positive Patients Awaiting Final Results

0

Ghana’s confirmed coronavirus cases have jumped to 132 with three deaths and 129 active cases.
However, if all goes well, the number of active cases may drop by 14.
That is because 14 patients who tested positive and are currently being treated at home are awaiting their final test results.
This is a mandatory process to test all formally confirmed patients whether they still carry the virus before they are given the all clear.
A statement from the Ghana Health Service said, the 14 patients “are being managed at home and the rest are responding well to treatment on admission in isolation.”
“They are awaiting their test results and will be discharged when the results are negative,” the statement added.
If all goes well, this will be good news after the country just recorded a spike in cases and its death toll slowly rising.
