Drunkard fights EC officials after failing to locate name in register

A man in his thirties Kwame Dwomffour who turned up drunk at the Kronom M/A polling station ‘A’ to cast his vote in the district Assembly Elections run the centre totally amuck after Electoral Commission Staff were unable to locate his name in the registers.

The man who budged into the polling station at about 7:00 am without his voters ID card demanded his right to exercise his franchise prompting the Electoral Officers to search his name in the registers.

Ultimate fm’s Barima Kwabena Owusu reported that after a long unsuccessful search, he was ushered into the Kronom M/A polling station ‘B’ to try his luck.

Kwame Dwomffour was subsequently referred to the Kronom M/A Polling Station ‘C’ and D’ with no sign of his name in the registers.

Hell broke loose for the gentleman who lost his temper and begun hurling invectives at the EC officers for denying him the opportunity to vote.
