In a July interview with Hot97, Bardi first indicated her desire to collaborate with the legendary Brooklyn rapper, saying, “I just want the song I make with her to be like a tremendous, spectacular return. She reportedly added at the time, “I want this to be like her insane… her moment.
Just two months later, the couple have been photographed in the studio, suggesting that she was serious about the collaboration. That’s what people assumed after an Instagram post went viral showing the two female rappers working in the studio with other musicians including Swizz Beatz and ASAP Ferg.
The two appeared to be having a great time together, and the camera angle shows them in each other’s personal space, which may indicate that some new song is in the works. When the camera framed Cardi and Kim close to one another, they were beaming with apparent happiness to be there.

On Sunday, the video appeared on social media, driving supporters into a frenzy. Like this fan who commented, “This makes so much sense hope Swizz found the proper (fire emoji) for them,” and this one who added, “Lol Kim genuinely is a living hip hop legend,” fans quickly showed their delight.
There were, however, a lot of negative remarks as well, with some asking why the studio was so packed and others again stating that the two rappers couldn’t compete with Nicki Minaj.
